This meeting is for SX.e and CSD users alike with a focus on the technical side. We’ll dig into several topics including:

• A Round Table Discussion with a panel of recent CSD adopters from our TUG community. Whether you’re already on CSD, or in the process of migrating, this panel will provide valuable knowledge and insights to help you with your CSD environment.
•  FireSide Chat and Question and Answer opportunity with Infor’s Chris Weaver and Mike Mazzoni on the topics that are affecting us as System Admins: NextGen, Portal 2.0, WebRF, and Custom Coding
• An Introduction to Q&D’s for SX.e, with a discussion of how to do the same thing in CSD
• IONDesk flows have more capabilities than just notifications and task generation!  Dive deeper into the possibilities of data flows for updating and maintaining records using APIs, Python, Mongoose, and BODs with Brandon Watson from Tridex.

Infor Mongoose is a rapid application development framework that lets you quickly build out applications, extensions, stand-alone, mobile, portal, all in one simple framework. It is a no-code, low-code solution. Mongoose allows system admins to build and deploy an app that is optimized for desktop, tablet and smartphone quickly and efficiently. This session will cover basic Mongoose use and show the integration to Infor GO.

(506) Hands-On Lab – Personalization and Extensibility

Personalization allows non-technical users the ability to modify the look and feel of a WebUI View. Moving fields, Hiding Fields, re-labeling fields and adding color to fields are several examples. Extensibility is a technical way to make simple changes with no coding or more complex changes such as completely new functions or adding new data to an existing function. Complex extensions require expertise of JavaScript. This session will review Personalization, basic Extensions, and the management of both.

ION Desk is responsible for all Business Object Documents (BODs) inbound and outbound to all applications using BODs. This session will review the different processes available inside of the ION Desk application. With examples of Alerts for High Dollar Sales Orders or Task for Releasing Orders on Credit Hold, with a click of a button from the Portal, Tablet or Mobile Device. This is the replacement for Event Manager!

The New Paradigm. EDI using Business Object Documents (BODs) and API calls. In All Attendees, CSD does not support Flat File EDI processing. This session will review the CSD required setup for EDI (some new and some legacy), Review the most common transaction sets and how they translate from flat file Processing to BOD processing. We will review ION set up for EDI and review some EDI data flows for EDI processing transactions.

Jim Hatch is s 30-year veteran of using, supporting, and modifying Infor SX.e and CloudSuite Distribution. He began his career as a customer then transitioned to Infor where he worked in various roles including: Developer, Modification Designer, Trainer, Project Manager, Business Consultant and Business Analyst. In 2018, Jim joined the Tridex Systems team and currently leads the Development group. Tridex Systems’ Development group provides application consulting, legacy modification review, extension design, extension development, ION dataflow implementation, and system integration services to Infor SX.e and CSD customers.

Roger Realsen is a 30-year veteran of using, supporting, and modifying Infor SX.e and CloudSuite Distribution. He began his career as a customer in 1993 where he worked in various roles including: Developer, Modification Designer, Trainer, Project Manager, Business Consultant and Business Analyst. In 2011, Roger joined the Tridex Systems team and continues his various roles of support and expertise for Tridex Systems’ Infor SX.e and CSD customers.
